Gorilla trekking can range from moderately to highly challenging, depending on the location of the gorillas. We recommend a basic level of fitness and suggest hiring a porter for additional assistance if needed.
The minimum age for gorilla trekking in Uganda is 15 years. This is due to the physical demands of the trek and the safety of the participants and gorillas.
