4 Days Kidepo National Park Safari

This 4 Days Kidepo national park safari has a lot of excitement and adventure. Kidepo National Park is the least explored of all Uganda’s national parks yet so endowed and beaming with wildlife and picturesque virgin plains. A game drive in Kidepo national park is only comparable to that of Masai Mara national park and that, coupled with the Karamojong cultural tours, leaves a lasting, memorable experience.

Day 1: Departure from Kampala

You will wake up to an early morning breakfast as you prepare for the long day on the road to Kidepo, you will meet our company representative and your guide. You will head northwards with brief stopovers to stretch out and lunch en-route arriving Kidepo national park in the evening. This is surely a long journey and can take between 8 to 9 hours via Mbale – Soroti road. Have dinner and a good night’s sleep at Apoka safari lodge

Day 2: Game drive and Cultural walk

 You will enjoy early morning breakfast and head out into the wilderness for a game drive chancing you to encounter herds of buffaloes, zebras, elephants and a pride of lions among other wildlife. Cheetahs are also present in Kidepo but rarely seen because of their shy nature.

Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, set off for a cultural walk to the Karmojong at Kapedo and Karenga. You will interact and learn about their unique culture and way of life which is amazing. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3: Transfer Gulu

You will have breakfast will be served early and make an early start on the long journey to Gulu, we shall have a stop at the Aruu falls where you will take multiple photos as you enjoy the nature. Then proceed to Gulu town where we shall enjoy their life and book in into our hotel for dinner and night.

 Day 4 transfer back to kampala.

You will have breakfast will be served early and make an early start on the long journey back to Kampala with lunch en-route arriving Kampala late afternoon
